I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mawson Ossa for a suit fitting, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Grant, the tailor, looked after me with great care and attention, ensuring that I was completely comfortable throughout the process. Both he and his colleague demonstrated a fantastic sense of style and provided numerous design choices that went far beyond what I expected from a suit fitting.

Grant suggested a suit style that was quite new to me, and he had several examples in the store to illustrate his ideas. He showed me intricate details on those suits, which really helped me understand what the final product would look like. For instance, he explained different lapel styles, the placement and construction of buttons, the functionality and shape of various pockets, and other subtle elements that enhance the suit's overall aesthetic.

The atmosphere in the store is incredibly relaxing, with pleasant scents and soothing music that make it a joy to sit and wait. Grant's enthusiasm for his work was evident every time he measured and pinned certain parts of the suit. His excitement about the final outcome instilled a great deal of confidence in me.

Additionally, Mawson Ossa takes great pride in sourcing high-quality fabrics from Europe, Japan, and other regions. They combine these fabrics meticulously to create suits that are perfect for the finest occasions. The attention to detail is remarkable, ensuring every aspect of the suit comes together harmoniously like a symphony.

Grant's extensive experience truly shines through compared to any other tailor I've visited. He has a wealth of experience creating fantastic-looking suits that are both trendy and timeless. His ability to balance modern style with classic elegance is impressive. He meticulously observes the details of my body to ensure the suit fits me perfectly, not just for one occasion but for multiple events.

The team was also very flexible with scheduling, accommodating my time constraints without any issue. Overall, my experience at Mawson Ossa was exceptional. Absolutely incredible experience with Grant. The level of care and knowledge that goes into the tailoring is the best I’ve come across. Grant has a textiles background, and that really shows through the breadth of explanation when guiding through making my suits & shirts. The vision I provided for my wedding suit (and the groomsmen) was pretty bare, Grant being the absolute style master he is guided me through every step of the process. We ended up with a product far superior to anything I could have found on the rack in Sydney (or anywhere), and at a price-point we were all comfortable with. The turn around time was ace, Grant was always there to give updates and he made himself available throughout.
The tailored shirts were the icing on the cake. I will never buy a collared shirt from anywhere else now I know what Grant can deliver.
