Our family has been using local cuts for our beef since they first opened. The communication, packaging, picking out cut preference process has been super easy and quite enjoyable too. The quality of the beef that we have received has been tops. We prefer our beef to be grain finished so that’s what we got. If you prefer grass fed, or longhorn, etc that’s what you’ll get. Easy peasy.

You can tell that Local Cuts was founded and is run by people who value quality. The local ranchers know this and they process their beef here too.

Oh…. Our beef would definitely grade out as prime without being at a prime price. The pic is a 17lb brisket that I can’t wait to get on the smoker real soon!

I purchased ground beef this weekend for burgers. This was the best beef. Purchased 1lb packages and made into 2 burger pattys. I will only purchase my beef from this company in the future. The "Best" in Brown County. Can't wait to try their steaks! Defently have a repeat customer.

We got our cow processed here and wow!! What a great job they did on the cuts and it was beautifully packaged. But most of all the customer service was excellent! The attention to detail was over and above my expectations. We will definitely be back again! I also grabbed some Jalapeño sausage they had upfront, and it was amazing! Great job, keep it up!

Highly recommend Local Cuts! We had a cow processed and the quality of their work was tremendous! Quick turnaround, the cuts were beautiful, and I was able to tell the staff that I greatly appreciated their work. Service was great and I'll check back in when we cook up something delicious ?

We had a LH bull that was on lease to a neighbor. That owner was out of town and the bull (of ours) jumped the fence into our mutual neighbor's beef-producing ranch. This could have been terrible, but we are all friends, so we worked together. The bull had reached his prime, and without another site for him to work immediately, he needed to be processed. Local Cuts, (Monica) was given very short notice, (less than 12 hours), to process him, and she accommodated us with no issue. The bull was treated with extreme care and was processed at their facility, exactly to our cut sheet specifications. The staff even treated us to free samples of their sausage and affirmed that "...if we wanted to change our cut sheet later, to just give them a call." We did based on their samples. The summer sausage was some of the best I've ever had. Our meat, (lean, intact bull, LH open-range), hung for approximately 8-9 days. The live weight was 1198 lbs. We gave up hide, organs, tongue, neck, skull and horns in good faith because of the short notice. (We felt we owed them based on the circumstances). Our net was 330 lbs of excellently packaged and boxed beef. They loaded my wife at her convenience, again, more than friendly throughout the entire process. The cost was just over $1100.00. This was roughly $3.33 per pound, exactly where any rancher needs to be. Our next animal will be processed with at least 50 additional pounds of their summer and jalapeno sausage for our friends and neighbors. It is just OUTSTANDING! The facility, from a ranching standpoint, is exceptional, with a nice, wide concrete apron to pull into and align with their gate system. The Our 24' trailer was a breeze. It should be noted that their is ample turn-around room that will enable you to manipulate and park a 40' trailer with ease. Their gates will accommodate horned cattle easily. The foyer into the lobby is exceptionally clean. ALL of the staff were very friendly and courteous. In short, we had an excellent experience with Local Cuts and this will now be our processor for the indefinite future. If you are considering harvesting your stock or simply purchasing fine, quality natural beef, this place can not be beat. A+ We highly recommend this place of business without any reservation. We consider ourselves fortunate that we are only 35 minutes from their door. Some folks drive 4.5 hours to process with Local Cuts, and now we know why. Beware! Just got my steer back from these guys. Cuts are great, packaging is great. Problem is I'm missing around 100 pounds of meat. 1,100 pound steer with 632 pound hang weight yielded 310 pounds of beef or 49.8%? 8 ea 8oz filets (4 lbs) on an 1,100 pound steer that should yield 6-8 lbs? Hope yall make good money on the rest of my meat in your store because this is first and the last time you process for me.

We LOVED the steaks I purchased after CHRISTmas for our family meal. I usually get ribeyes BUT at the time they were sold out so I got 5 1 1/4 inch cut sirloins & they were HUGE & SO GOOD! We were able to eat 3 for 4 adults & another time the other 2 for 4 adults.
I will most definitely be back! They say if you can order ahead of time they will cut them to your liking & have them ready…

If you travel to different beef conferences & seminars , you meet lots of just pure good people. Everyone always says drop by anytime . Well, I did just that @ Local Cuts on a recent trip back from out west Texas unannounced just a drop in. The complete staff and owners happen to be just as good people as I had met in Conroe . Was kind of enough to give me a tour. Let me tell you the 1st top notch operation is extremely clean. Their entire process from the way they track each animal through complete packaging and not to forget their unloading area along with their holding pens. They are the real complete deal ; I will be sending my beef for processing to them.
