Absolutely fantastic experience at The Local! Corey and Peeps went above and beyond to make my time there memorable. The food was incredible, with every dish perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The drinks were top-notch, expertly crafted, and always refreshing. Corey and Peeps made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire month I was working in the area. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made The Local feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend! Five stars all the way!

The place is spacious and comfortable, it consists of an indoor area where the restaurant and the bar are and a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake, the team is very friendly and the food is incredible, I think I have tried everything on the menu and I love everything ? if you don't know which drink to choose, the bartenders always make accurate recommendations, they have an extensive menu of incredible food and drinks
In addition to this, they have trivia Thursdays and karaoke Fridays every week!!! a wonderful place to go and spend and amazing day

The Local in Tava Waters has many great entrees and appetizers. I've eaten here many times. Their menu changes seasonally. I like the French Dip and their pasta never disappoints. Highly recommend them for a quick bite or a night out with friends.

First of all, this place does cater to people outside the community so let’s get that out of the way bc that was confusing to us. Corey helped navigate us to the entrance, to the gate off of Valencia (just tell them you are going to the Local) and recommended the quick lunch wrap with a Pina colada. It was exactly what we needed. Full bar with frozen drinks, lake view, friendly company and best of all it’s a hidden gem. Tell only your cool friends about this place and maybe you will see us at Karaoke Fridays.

I don’t ever write reviews but Corey here at the Local has definitely changed my mind. Not only was he friendly as soon as we walked in but he knew what to recommend and made great drinks. Me and my boyfriend have only lived here a few days but we keep coming back to the Local for Corey’s vibe alone.

Extremely unprofessional environment. Employees are rude and prejudiced against people of different backgrounds. Joe and a younger female bartender had security kick my roommate and I out of the pool which isn’t even owned by The Local. Security tried telling the employees that there was an email sent by Tava saying the pool is open but Joe and the bartender continued to yell at us from the deck in front of other customers. Once security confirmed we couldn’t have outside drinks we threw them away. There was a Caucasian couple with a cooler also enjoying the pool without being harassed by the employees like we were. Thank you to the Oculus Security guard for handling the situation so gracefully and taking it upon himself to apologize for the way we were treated by The Local staff. He came and talked to us privately instead of humiliating us from the deck.

Like I said, once security had a civilized conversation with me, rather than shouting from the deck, and explained the licensing we threw the drinks away. This was my experience with your staff and they represent yourself and your business. I take responsibility for the situation; however, that does not excuse the way your staff yelled at us from the deck in front of other customers. They could’ve walked over to us and explained why outside beverages are not permitted the same way the security officer did.

Great place to hangout in the local community and for anyone here who brings guests to Denver to have a low-key night where you don't have to worry, very clean and being poolside and hot tub side is a nice perk. I love coming here Everytime I visit Denver!
